We are not just a magazine. We are the rebellion.
Artistic Vigilante is a creative movement born out of Lagos, Nigeria — a city bursting with raw energy, untold stories, and artistic brilliance. Founded by Adewusi Christopher Adeyemi, a visionary photographer and set designer with over 13 years of experience, Artistic Vigilante started as a platform to showcase the boldest visuals and stories from across Africa and the Diaspora.
Today, it’s more than that — it’s a living, breathing community of creators who refuse to follow the rules and instead, write their own.
Our Mission
To give underrepresented creatives the platform, tools, and tribe they need to grow, connect, and be seen on their own terms.
We are building a safe space for fearless expression, where photography, music videos, digital art, fashion, writing, and film collide unapologetically.
What Makes Us Different?
- We don’t beg for validation. We create our own tables.
- We’re loud about storytelling. From the streets of Lagos to the studios of Amsterdam — our aesthetic is gritty, honest, and deeply intentional.
- We are for the misfits, the mad geniuses, the quiet rebels. The ones who create with soul.
Who’s Behind This?
Led by Adewusi Adeyemi (aka Losgiddy) — a renowned photographer and creative director, known for capturing cultural icons like Fireboy and Jay-Jay Okocha, and mentoring a new generation of visual storytellers through the Losgiddy School of Photography.
Artistic Vigilante is an extension of that vision: global, boundary-pushing, and legacy-driven.
What We’re Building
- A global creative community with digital and real-world impact
- A membership platform with masterclasses, mentorships, events, and resources
- A publication that defies the traditional idea of an art magazine — we’re not polished, we’re powerful.
